 Woot!!
I am SO jacked to announce this today...:) I just
got the nod from Marvel to work on the new "Spiderman Archives"
trading card set... to be released in September, 2009! Spidey
has always been my favorite comic book hero... and the bad guys
and girls he battles are all going to be a ton of fun to draw!!
I'll dish out more info
about this project as I am allowed to by the distributor...:)
Let's all say it together... "Face it, Tiger... you hit
the JACKPOT!"
Well... it's official now,
so I can announce that I am one of the artists on Marvel Comics
"X-Men Archives" trading card set... set for release
July 8, 2009!!
I'm VERY proud and excited to be a part of this project!
And, in a week or so, once the set is released, I will post up
the art that I contributed.
I'm happy to be able to
announce that I will be contributing artwork to a new trading
card set in tribute to the 80's TV show "The Greatest American
Hero"...!
The proceeds from this project will help benefit the March of
Dimes.... and the set is scheduled to release on July 15th, 09.
I'll have all the scans posted of the cards I contributed
in a few days... so, keep an eye out here for them...!
I'm very excited to announce that I will
be one of the artists contributing original
sketch card art for the new trading card
set... "LEGENDS AND LORE".
I will be creating 30 original
sketch cards
that will be randmly inserted into sets of
these trading cards. I'll post them here
once I receive permission to do so, so you can see what each
of my original pieces looks like.
Along with the regular
cards I'm contributing, I also have 2 base cards in the set.
And, a very limited Promo card that you can only get thru
the distributor's website. Below is the card, and
by clicking her you can go to the spot where you can pick one
up...:)

"Axebone" is my fictional
alter ego...
my creativity personified, so to speak.
A fantasy, pin-up illustrator that brings to life all of the
wonderful characters and beautiful images that bang around inside
my delirious little noggin.
The majority of the work
that I create in this guise has a whimsical, flirtacious style.
Both sexy... and fun...
without taking itself too seriously... :)
Hopefully, it has also developed a distinctive look that anyone
viewing will instantly recognize.
The original art is created
with a mix of different mediums... acrylic paints, inks washes,
PrismaColor Art Markers, PrismaColor Pencils and India Inks.
Recently, I have been experimenting with digital
painting techniques and hope to work more of that into future
projects and pieces of art.
